hola de nuevo tocayos Ranera:

Acabo de enterarme que no solo esta el pueblo que lleva nuestro apellido Ranera en Burgos, como decia en otra entrada, sino tambien hay dos pueblos mas que llevan nuestro apellido. Uno de ellos es Ranera, pero éste está en Jaén. No poseo datos acerca de este pueblo, y lo poco que se es que esta cerca de otras poblaciones llamadas Valdepeñas de Jaen, Fuensanta de Martos y Castillo de Locubin (Seguiré con la investigación jajaja...).

Y el otro pueblo se llama Casillas de Ranera, está situado en la provincia de Cuenca, cerca de la pequeña población de Talayuelas... desde donde se puede acceder al Pico Ranera, del cual hablaremos mas tarde...

Así que ya tenemos varios pueblos donde celebrar reuniones de nuestra futura asociacion.. por cual comenzamos?

Hello again, Ranera,

I have received a good news for us and is that there is not only one village with the name of Ranera, but also there is two more villages with has as name our surname of Ranera. One of them is Ranera too, but this is another village not from Burgos... is from the province of Jaen. I haven't any data about this village, and I only know that it is near from another villages called Valdepeñas de Jaen, Fuensanta de Martos and Locubin's castle... (I will continue with the investigation jaja...).

And the other village is called Casillas de Ranera, in the province of Cuenca, near the little village of Talayuelas, and we can accede from this village at Ranera's Peak, which we speak in another occasion...

We have many villages where we can celebrate our first international meeting of our asociation... In which of them can we start?

Segun he podido saber a traves de diversas redes sociales tales como tuenti, facebook y mas, resulta que los que llevamos el apellido Ranera por todo el mundo somos mas de quinientas personas de acuerdo con los registros de dichas redes. La inmensa mayoria descendemos de una u otra forma de Pastrana, ya sabeis, pueblo de la provincia de Guadalajara en España del cual hablaremos cuando llegue la ocasion y, si es necesario y queréis, cada semana iremos poniendo en este blog noticias que alli acontezcan (Aunque eso si, espero vuestra opinion)... Pero sabíais que hay personas con el apellido Ranera que son de Filipinas y Arabia, o que viven en paises tan distantes entre si como Francia y Australia? Curioso, verdad? Pues es real...

According to I know through many social networks as Tuenti, Facebook and many others, it results that we are more than five hundred people according to the registrations of this social networks who have the surname Ranera. The inmense majority of us descend from Pastrana, you know, the village of the province of Guadalajara in Spain of which we will speak when the opportunity arrives and, if it would be necessary and if you want, every week we will put in this blog news from the village (I expect your opinion not only about that but also about the blog, and your comments jajaja)... But you know that there are people with the surname Ranera that were born and lives in Arabia and Philippines? Or from countries so distant between them like France and Australia?Curious isn't it? But true...

Un dato curioso

Hola de nuevo, queridisimos amigos Ranera:

Os diré que, desde hace tiempo, sé que existe al menos un pueblo que lleva como nombre nuestro apellido: se llama Ranera, curioso verdad? Pues sí, existe, y está en la provincia de Burgos, en el llamado partido de la Sierra en Tobalina, aproximadamente cerca de la provincia de Vitoria... qué os parece? Es un pueblo muy pequeño, de treinta habitantes, y está a una altitud de 648 metros.

Se encuentra a 59 Km. de Burgos, en la Comarca de Las Merindades y cuenta con una población aproximada de 30 habitantes.

El río Molinar divide en dos barrios este bello núcleo. En uno de ellos, se levantó la iglesia de Nuestra Señora, que conserva su ventana y canes de origen románico.

Los terrenos colindantes a un caserío que ha sabido como conservar su arquitectura tradicional, están salpicados por huertas.

La zona es un buen lugar para la práctica de la caza del corzo y jabalí en alguno de los cotos que hay en la zona.

Así es que... por que no visitarlo en alguna reunión que tengamos los Ranera? Que os parece la idea?

Hello again, dear friends Ranera

I will tell you that, many years ago, I know that exist one village that has the same name as our surname: it's called Ranera... curious, isn't it? It's true, it exists, and it is in the province of Burgos, in the local asociation called Partido de la sierra en Tobalina, near the province of Vitoria... curious or not? It's a very little village, with only 30 inhabitants and at 648 mts of height.

It's from 59 kms of Burgos capital, in the Merindades region, with only, I repeat, 30 inhabitants. The Molinar river divide into two areas this beauty village. In one of them, the church of our Lady, that keep a window and canes of romanic style was constructed and erected.

There is a lot of vegetable garden surrounding this hamlet.

It's a good place to practice the wild board and roe deer hunting because there is a lot of game preserves in the zone.

Why not visit it in a meeting of our Ranera's asociation? What's your opinion about that? What do you think about the idea?

Aqui empieza una nueva aventura que pienso será fascinante a la vez que util para todos nosotros, y es que todos los que llevamos el apellido Ranera y deseemos estar unidos como una asociación y dentro de poco como una familia, aqui tenemos nuestro blog recién nacido. Un blog donde podremos saber mas cosas acerca de nuestro apellido, como el origen, datos curiosos, donde estamos quienes lo llevamos y tambien intercambiar nuestros emails y/o direcciones postales... Here is a new adventure that I think will be fascinating at the same time as useful for all of us, and it is that all that we have the surname Ranera and will be united as an asociation (and maybe in a few time as a big family why not?), here we have our blog recently born. A blog where we will know more things about our surname, as for example the origin, curious information, where are people whith the same surname, and with the possiblity to exchange our emails or postal addresses.... Gradually we will shape this our blog with your contributions and more that I hope it will be to your liking.
